Yes, LPU is a good choice for pursuing MBA in supply chain management. I did MBA in Finance at LPU and my friend did MBA in Logistics and supply chain management from LPU itself.

So long story short if you have 12 years of experience in Retail that is a big thing. Talking about courses, you can choose amongst Diploma, Certification and a Masters Degree. As you already have experience in Retail so I am assuming that you would be a Graduate. So next option you have is Masters in Retail Management/ MBA ( Retail Management)

Graduate with minimum 45% marks in Bachelor's from any recognised University. People from any background can apply for this course. Talking about the fees, in any average Institution a Masters in Retail Management may cost you somewhere around Rs 2-5 lac and Rs 7-10lac in any A level institution like Symbiosis Pune. If you want to get admission into A Level institutions you need to qualify CAT XAT or MAT. Someone with a Master's in Retail Management can get ample opportunities in Restaurants, airlines, logistics, Multiplex or Insurance Agencies.
