Yes, you can pursue B.Ed. Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed is Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Any Bachelor's Degree holder can pursue B.Ed Programme. B.Ed. The degree is compulsory to become a teacher in secondary schools. The syllabi of B.Ed. Programme includes different training and teaching methods to ensure that qualified B.Ed teachers possess requisite proficiency in teaching. The candidates can choose the specialisation in this programme based on the discipline they have studied at the graduation level. Career Scope:

With the release of official notification on August 21, 2019, it is clear that NTA will be conducting the April session of IGNOU B.Ed 2020 Entrance Exam. IGNOU B.Ed exam will be conducted on April 29, 2020.

Candidates should have cleared Class XII from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates). Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2019 are also eligible to apply. Dec 20, 2019

Hello,
It is very nice to see that you are interested in going to the education field. Normally speaking, the eligibility criteria for this entrance exam conducted by NCERT is 12th. Now many states have declared Diploma as equivalent to 12th. So please check with the institution from where you did Diploma and obtain this equivalence cert. Once you have this then you can appear for any exam where eligibility is 12th. Best wishes to you.
