NCERT is expected to conduct the RIE CEE exam tentatively in July 2025. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) to provide admission to candidates in teaching courses offered at Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) located at Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysore, and Shillong. The exam is held to provide admission to candidates in BSc BEd/ BA BEd/ MSc Ed and BEd/BEd-MEd/MEd courses.

Th RIE CEE 2025 seat matrix will be released by the exam condcuting body after the result. Along with the seat matrix, RIE CEE reservation criteria list will also be released after the result. As per the official notification of RIE CEE, the mandatory reservation of SC-15%), ST-7.5%), OBC - 27%), and PwD-5%) and (EWS-10%) will be followed as per the Government of India Norms. Ten percentage of seats for EWs will be provided to the eligible candidates over and above the existing permitted strength. The reservation of seats will be distributed to all the States and Union Territories according to the merit and availability of candidates.

The RIE CEE syllabus is prescribed by the exam conducting body which is the National Council of Educational Research and Training. The syllabus of NCERT consists of the subjects, sections and topics on which the exam question paper will be based. Candidates preparing for the RIE CEE exam need to go through the syllabus in order to understand the subjects and ascertain which are their weak and strong areas. By doing this, they will be able to create a realistic study plan for the exam preparation.

The sections in the RIE CEE exam are divided into three sections - Section A, Section B and Section C each section will consist of objective type questions. As per tjhe official notification, in the question paper there will be as many as 80 questions which candidates will have to attempt in order to qualify in the exam.

As per the official notification of the exam conducting authority NCERT, the RIE CEE syllabus is mainly divided into three sections including Section A Language Proficiency, Section B- Teaching Aptitude/ Attitude and Section C- Reasoning Ability. During their preparation stage, candidates need to cover all these sections, only then they will have higher chances of qualifying in the exam. To cover these sections, aspirants can either refer to the best books, online study materials or videos.

According to the RIE CEE notification, the RIE CEE Reasoning Ability section includes topics such as Verbal non-verbal reasoning, Missing numbers, Number series, Letter series, Theme finding, Jumbling, Analogy, Odd one out, Arranging the statements in a sequential form, Statement and conclusions, Syllogism, Logical problems and Establishing relationships.

As per the official notification of RIEE CEE released by NCERT, the RIE CEE Teaching Aptitude/ Attitude section includes topics such as Attitude towards education, Children and teaching profession, Interest in teaching, Leadership qualities & group management, Emotional & social adjustment Intrapersonal & interpersonal skills and General awareness of contemporary issues pertaining to school education.

The detailed Language Proficiency syllabus of RIE CEE as set by the exam body includes topics like Comprehension, Rearranging sentences, Selecting suitable words for the blanks, Finding out errors in parts of the sentences, Finding out equivalent meaning to the given phrases, Finding out suitable words for the incomplete sentences, Sequencing and Grammar which includes synonyms, antonyms, idioms, prepositions, tenses, articles.

The RIE CEE Eligibility Criteria is prescribed by the exam conducting body (National Council for Education Research and Training NCERT). The exam body sets the eligibility criteria for candidates who want to participate in the exam. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria can fill the application form or else their candidature might be rejected at the later stages.

As per the official notification released by NCERT, the RIE CEE exam is divided into three parts i.e., Group A which consists of B.Sc.B.Ed/ BA.B.Ed/M.Sc.B.Ed, Group B for B.Ed and Group C for M.Ed courses. Group A consists of questions of higher secondary/ senior secondary level syllabus. Group B questions are formed out of graduation level syllabus; while Group C consists of questions of graduation as well as professional level syllabus.
