Yes, it is possible to get part-time jobs while studying at Riga Technical University (RTU). Bachelor students at RTU can work part-time for up to 20 hours per week, while master and PhD students can work full-time for 40 hours per week after completing the first year of study. However, students are responsible for finding a job themselves. The university does not organize job placements, but students can explore job opportunities through various channels such as the university's website, online job portals, and by networking with fellow students and professionals. 

At RTU, students can opt for one of the seven warm apartment buildings or dormitory-style hostels. There are double and triple rooms which are furnished and have all the basic facilities such as internet, laundry services, WC and shower, kitchenette, etc.

Yes, the TOEFL score is accepted at the university. Students should be holding a minimum 61 score in TOEFL iBT and in paper-based TOEFL they should have obtained a minimum score of 530.

In order to obtain admission into an undergraduate course, students need to possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and transcript with good scores, especially in physics and/or mathematics. Also, all international students will need to submit proof of English language proficiency in case English isn’t their native language.
