There are two ways to join as a lateral entry student in PSG College of Technology:
1. After Diploma, you can apply thro' TNEA counseling, which will be conducted at Alagappa Chettiyar University, Karaikudi. Counseling call depends on your diploma final year percentage. If you received a call for the first day counseling or topped with a rank of at least below 10, you're almost have a chance to get a seat at PSG Tech.
Your final year percentage should be more than 96 if you're a general category applicant. For BC/MBC it should be more than 94%. For SCA/SC/ST more than 92 is enough.

First of all, you must have Maths, Phyiscs in your 12th. After that apply for the entrance exams like JEE Mains UPTU, other engineering entrance exams. Do well in these exams and you will be offered admission in one of the engineering colleges of India through Counselling process after the result of the entrance exam. Study Mechatronics, CS ECE or Mechanical. Please first of all decide which domain you are interested in autonomous robots or others. Then, choose wisely which course to apply.

Mathematically, robotics is the subset of mechatronics set.
Robotics is a specific branch of mechatronics that requires the knowledge of,
