Candidates wishing to apply for the course need to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:
A minimum aggregate score of 55% at the level of graduation in B.Sc. or B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects of study completed from a recognized institute or university.
Candidates waiting for their final years exam results can also apply for this course on a provisional basis.
A number of institutes in the country prefer students with professional experience in the field.

The candidate applying for the course must complete 10+2/equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate in PCM/PCB. The candidates who have completed a diploma in robotics technology or automation technology can also apply for this course through lateral entry. Along with these requirements the candidates are to appear for entrance examinations to get admitted into robotics engineering course.
Admission process for B.Tech Robotics Engineering:

BS degree in robotics engineering, computer engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering allows graduates to work in robotics engineering. A Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is necessary for many advanced and managerial positions.
