Yes, you may go for robotics but considering the current situation or even after three years it's hard to say whether India has a good opportunity for robotics or not.

According to your statement, you can opt for B.Tech in mechanical and after that, you can opt for mechatronics specialisation in M.Tech.

Moreover, on the management basis, PSG College of Technology is an autonomous institution, affiliated to Anna University. So, you have to meet the basic admission requirements for the Bachelor of engineering course offered by Anna University.
Ex: Passed 12th standard (or equivalent) with maths (or biology), physics, chemistry.
Second: Approach the Office of Admissions to know the minimum marks required, the cost of a management seat, etc. for the stream you are looking for.

You have got great marks in boards and reasonably okay rank in CET. Fee of private colleges is very high. Attempt giving first preference to all govt colleges and then only private colleges.

you really have very good marks in 12th. Congratulations. Robotics is very specialized field hence difficult to find placement. It's comparatively easy to get placed in Aeronautical Engineering.
