Hi Rajesh,
If possible, go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute. The training and placement unit of the institute is responsible for providing world class job opportunities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations.
No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers.

Hi Pratik, I have a different way of looking at the situation. I fully respect your views and decision but choosing a career or stream should not be decided on the basis of salary alone. According to me first you will have to evaluate yourself. You will have to analyze whether you have good technical skills or you will do better as a manager in banking and finance industry. As you are in NIT ( REC ) getting a job for you will not be a big deal for you. I will recommend you to remain in India after your BTech for at least 2 years. Then you should decide. Going abroad is fine but at least you will have to spend 25-30 lakhs in INR for eit
