Yes, Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay is an Indian alumni of the Royal Holloway University of London England. She is an Indian Social Reformer and Freedom Activist. Her work towards uplifting the socio-economic standard of Indian women is widely appreciated. An interesting fact about her is that she is the first India woman to contest in elections from Madras Constituency. She pursued a diploma in Sociology at the Bedford College, University of London, one of the founding units of the Royal Holloway University of London.

Yes, it is hard to get into the Royal Holloway London as the university is very competitive with an acceptance rate of merely 17%.
