RPF SI Selection Process

There are multiple steps in the RPF (Railway Protection Force) Sub-Inspector (SI) selection procedure. Candidates must first pass a Computer Based Test (CBT) that evaluates their maths, reasoning, and general awareness skills. Successful candidates move on to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) to assess their physical standards and fitness after passing the CBT. After qualifying, candidates go through a Document Verification (DV) process in which their professional and academic histories are reviewed. Finally, to make sure they fulfil the health standards for the position, candidates must pass a medical exam. The purpose of the selection procedure is to find applicants who meet the requirements to work as a Sub-Inspector in the RPF and who are both physically and psychologically fit.
