The Ministry of Railways prescribes the RPF SI exam pattern for Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT). RPF SI exam pattern 2024 for CBT is such that it is divided into three sections- General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence & reasoning. Besides Hindi and English, the CBT is conducted in regional languages too. The standard of the syllabus is graduation level. There are also negative marks for wrong answers in the exam. The RPF SI admit card 2024 has been released. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) issued the admit cards of the RPF SI 2024 exam on their respective websites. Candidates need to visit the official RRB website of their respective region to download the RPF SI admit card. RRB ALP application fee is INR 500 for General and OBC categories while it is INR 250 for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically backward class. The application fee will be refunded to candidates after appearing in the first stage CBT. Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories will get a partial refund of the application fee while SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/ Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically backward class will get a full refund of the application form. The fee refund process for RPF SI exam is given below:All candidates must clearly mention the bank details (Name of Bank, Name of Account Holder, Account Number and IFSC Code) for receiving the refundable portion of their examination fee (i.e., INR 400 or 250 as applicable minus bank charges) in their application formThe responsibility for furnishing correct bank account details lies on the candidates and RRBs does not  entertain any correspondence from candidates on this groundThere is no refund of examination fee for erroneous, incomplete or rejected applications

After the final submission of RPF SI application form, if candidates want to make corrections in the create an account form  (including mobile number and Email ID), they need to pay a modification fee of INR 250. This modification fee is common irrespective of community and category. The modification fee is applicable in case of candidates changing their community.

While filling the RPF SI application form, candidates must ensure that they fill the details correctly as the examination authority might reject their applications on several grounds. RPF SI admit card is an important document and all the details printed in the same should be correct. In case of any discrepancies in details, candidates should inform the examination authority for correction. The examination authority will correct the details and issue fresh admit card.

A candidate who is in the final semester of graduation and has a RE in one subject would not be eligible to apply for the RPF SI exam in 2024. The eligibility criteria require the candidate to have completed their graduation degree before applying for the exam.
