IBPS RRB normalisation is a process used to equate the scores of candidates appearing for the examination, particularly when multiple shifts or sessions are conducted. This normalization method aims to adjust the difficulty level variations among different shifts to ensure fairness in the evaluation process. Since the examination may be conducted in various shifts, there could be slight differences in the difficulty level of questions between these shifts. To address this, the normalization process is applied, which takes into account the average performance of candidates in each shift and aligns the scores accordingly. The normalisation process ensures that all candidates are evaluated based on their relative performance across shifts rather than the absolute performance in a particular shift. Yes, candidates can change their states in the RRB Group D exam. This can be done by first choosing 'Application Modification' which is available in the home page of the registration portal. After candidates have chosen the preferred state, they need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 100 for modifying the application. Once candidates have successfully paid the application fee they can make the necessary changes and then submit it. Please note that candidates will not be able to edit your registration number, email id, mobile number, and your zone. Candidates are required to fill the application form online. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250.
