The reasons for rejection of RRB Group D application form are given below:
Application forms might be rejected due to invalid photos
Signature in capital/block letters
Not satisfying the prescribed qualification for the post
Over-aged or under-aged or Date of Birth wrongly filled
Multiple applications to different Railway zones or to the same Railway zone. In such case, all applications will be rejected and such candidates will be debarred from future RRB/RRC exams
Candidate's name figuring in the debarred list of any RRB / RRC
Incomplete or incorrectly filled application or any other irregularities which are observed and considered as invalid by RRB.

To check the application status, candidates are required to login with user ID and password. The application status of candidates displays whether their applications are accepted or rejected for the recruitment exam. Candidates whose applications are accepted by the examination authority are issued admit card. Before applying for RRB Group D exam, candidates should satisfy themselves that they fulfill all the eligibility norms including age, educational qualification(s) and medical standards. Candidates should ensure that they have requisite qualifications from recognized Board/Institute as on the date of  closure of online registration. Those awaiting results of the final examination for the prescribed qualification are not eligible and hence should not apply. 

The application fees for RRB Group D exam are INR 500 for all candidates except the fee concession categories. For PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/Economically Backward Class, the application fees are INR 250. The application fee can be paid online and offline. On appearing in CBT, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given full refund of application fee. Those belonging to unreserved categories are given partial refund of application fee. RRB Group D application fee can be paid online using Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/UPI. The application fee can be paid offline by using SBI Challan or post office challan.

The modification link to upload the photograph and signature is activated after the completion of application process. RRBs activate the modification link for candidates whose applications are rejected due to invalid photographs and signatures. Such candidates are given chance to re-upload their photographs and signatures as per the specified dimension and specification. RRB Group D admit card is released four days before the exam. To download the admit card, candidates are required to enter user ID and password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent by post. Candidates need to download the admit card and take the printout of it along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. The admit card comprises two parts-candidate's copy and RRB copy. The RRB copy of RRB Group D admit card is taken by the invigilator. The basic RRB Group D salary is INR 18,000. Besides the salary, candidates are also entitled to certain allowances and benefits. RRB Group D salary after 10 years increases upto INR 25,000 depending upon various factors. Candidates' salary is revised on the basis of 39 per cent DA allowances and the salary after five years jumps to INR 15,000 at least, depending on their pay band and the city they are posted in. Yes, RRBs release the answer key of RRB Group D a few days after the completion of the exam. The answer keys are made available on the official website and candidates need to download them by entering the required login credentials. Candidates can even raise objections against the answer key by paying INR 50 per answer. The objections submitted by candidates are examined by the subject-matter experts.
