RRB NTPC

Both verbal and non-verbal reasoning problems are covered in the RRB NTPC reasoning syllabus. In order to assess applicants' analytical, critical, and logical thinking abilities for a variety of non-technical positions, the board sets the RRB NTPC syllabus. It also aids in assessing candidates' capacity for problem-solving and decision-making. Applicants who are proficient in reasoning will do well in this portion. Candidates should practise Coding and Decoding, Analytical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, Decision Making, Puzzles, etc. for the RRB NTPC General Intelligence and Reasoning portion. There are 30 CBT 1 questions and 35 CBT 2 questions in this section. To ace this section, candidates should work through past years' question papers and mock exams.

RRB NTPC conducts CBAT for the positions of traffic assistants and station managers. A candidate also needs at least 42 marks in every test. There are 4-5 test parts of this and question and answer options are in both English and Hindi. Moreover,   CBAT has no negative markings.Intelligence Test: This type of question includes five figures, of which four are similar, and one is the only different one. Candidates have to decide which one out of the five is different.Selective Attentive Test: This test consists of focusing on a particular object for a certain period, during which irrelevant information that is happening is also ignored. This is an exam to determine whether a candidate can equate two numbers without making any mistakes and in a very short time.Scanning Test: This test evaluates how fast and accurately candidates can observe items and recognize them among them. Candidates are required to know how to find the shortest possible route between any two stations during the given time on the specified map.Information Ordering: The task of this type of test is to find out if the candidate can arrange things in a specific pattern according to particular rules or instructions.Personality Test: In this test, candidates will be given questions that aim to discover their likes and fighting spirit to establish their personality.Applicants must determine which one will be suitable for them. Following the questionnaire results, candidates are rated on two different personality dimensions, and scores are generated.

RRB Group D is the entry-level job in the Indian railway while RRB NTPC comes under the category of group C jobs, which are next to Group D posts. For RRB Group D posts, the educational qualification required is a Class 10th pass. For RRB NTPC undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed Class 12th. The posts announced under RRB Group D are Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman, etc. The posts announced under RRB NTPC are Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master.
