Yes, there is normalisation of marks in RRB NTPC exam. According to the normalisation process, the marks obtained in the exam are calculated on the basis of an average score of the top one percent of the candidates considering all shifts. The marks are calculated up to five decimal places. RRB NTPC exam is conducted in various stages, such as first stage CBT, second stage CBT, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (as applicable), and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

In the self-declaration part of RRB NTPC admit card, candidates are required to write a paragraph saying that the details they have entered in the application form are correct and complete. They should not write the self-declaration in capital letters. Likewise, blank spaces are also provided for signature and left thumb impression. RRB NTPC admit card for CBT is released online on the region-wise official websites of RRBs. The admit card for PET, document verification and medical exam is released by the Railway Recruitment Cells. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with user ID and password. The process to edit the RRB NTPC application form is given below:
Login using registration number and password
Pay the modification fee
Click on the 'Modify Application' button
Proceed with the changes and submit the application form
Print the latest submitted RRB NTPC application form.
After final submission of ONLINE application, in case the candidates wish to make minor changes to correct inadvertent errors in the application, the correction of data other than RRB, email and mobile number can be done by paying the modification fee of INR 100 (Non-Refundable)

The process to upload the photograph and signature is given below:
Candidates will be automatically directed to the 'Photo and Signature' upload part of the application
Select the 'Upload Photo Tab' and upload the colour photograph
Select the 'Upload Signature Tab' and upload the scanned signature
The photograph and signature should be in the prescribed format.

Candidates who appear in the first stage CBT are eligible for the refund of examination fee as per details. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. The application fees for the RRB NTPC exam can be paid online and offline. On completion of the application process, candidates are directed to the payment page to choose payment mode-Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan) or Post Office Challans as explained in Para 7 and complete the payment process. The reasons for rejection of the RRB NTPC application form are invalid photograph, wrong date of birth, incorrect details, multiple applications, etc. Candidates should enter the details carefully to avoid any rejection of the application form. Candidates should fill the RRB NTPC application form online only.
