No, graduating with a degree in agriculture is not a requirement to pursue an MBA in rural management. Although having a background in agriculture might give you a solid foundation and useful insights into rural situations, there are other ways to get into a rural management MBA programme. Many MBA programmes in rural management are developed to accommodate individuals with a variety of educational backgrounds who are interested in managing and developing rural areas.
