US News has ranked Rutgers - New Brunswick in the top 20 national universities in US for 2022-23. It has been ranked #19, a slight move from #23 from last year. While Rutgers - Newark was at no. 53, it has also moved upwards and among the top 100 public universities in the US. For social mobility, Rutgers-Newark was ranked in the top 10 of national universities at #7 while Rutgers-New Brunswick #63. Since 2019, U.S. News has factored in the school’s success at promoting social mobility by measuring the success of students who received Federal Pell Grants.

According to bloomberg 2021 ranking, Rutgers was ranked 37th in the united states. However, in 2022, the ranking slightly dropped at 52. Coming to Financial Times ranking, the university was placed 86th in 2021, improving the range to 69 drastically. In the QS Global MBA rankings, Rutgers fell within the scope of 121-130 in 2021 and 151-200 in 2022 and 2023.
