SAEC college Chennai put up a fairly decent show in terms of the course it offers, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering or CSE. The college enjoys good facilities, quality faculty, and networking right from the job sectors. In 2019, SAEC College was ranked 84 in the Top 100 Pvt. Colleges in India, 57th position in the colleges of the south zone, and 20th position in Tamil Nadu. As of 2022-2023, the CSE branch has the most placements. With around 113 students getting placed from that CSE branch. Followed by ECE with around 60 students, then IT with 50, next is EEE with around 20, and last is CIVIL with just 8 students. The years 2017 to 2021 had a consistent placement for students at about 86 to 90 percent.
