S.D. College of Engineering and Technology provides cutoff marks as per the course and the category of the candidates. For B.Tech, the UPSEE cutoff ranks are: General – Rs. 15000- 25000, OBC – 25000- 40000, SC/ST – 40000- 60000. JEE Main cutoff scores are 80-120 For General, 60-80 for OBC and 40-60 for SC/ST. For M.Tech, the GATE cutoff scores are 25-40 (General), 20-25 (OBC), 15-20 (SC/ST). Minimum marks required in 10+2 are 45% (General) 40% (SC/ST).

S.D. College of Engineering and Technology having 85% seats of Karnataka Government and 15% seats of Management quota seats. Eligibility: 45 % + marks in 10+2 (40% for SC/ST) with Physics, Chemistry, Math. Direct admission criteria:- 85%+ in 10+2: 100% tuition fee waiver- 80-84.99%: 50% tuition fee waiver- 75-79.99%: 25% tuition fee waiverApplication fee: INR 1,000-1,500. Admission process: Application on line, scrutiny of documents and interview. They have 90 seats under management quota every year.

S.D. College of Engineering and Technology provides scholarship to the deserving students but they are not full scholarship packages. Scholarship categories include: Merit-Based being full scholarships up to the full tuition fee; SC, ST, OBC scholarships which are centrally funded and EWS scholarships. Eligibility criteria: Aspirants must have secured 85%+ in 10+2 examinations or have secured 80%+ mark in graduation. Scholarship amount: From INR 10,000 to INR 1,20,000 for each training per annum. S.D. College of Engineering and Technology has all necessary infrastructural facilities like it has 20 acre campus, three academic blocks, 50 plus laboratories and more than 200 class rooms. Other facilities are thus the central library, a circulation of 50000+ books, two auditoriums one seminar hall and one sports complex. Facilities in the hostels are; security, internet, and healthfaction for 1500 students throughout the day and at night. Other facilities include; Gym; dining hall; cricket, football, basketball and volleyball courts. Transportation: 20+ buses. Power backup: 100% genset facility.

The students seeking admission to the first year of B.E./B.Tech course in S.D. College of Engineering and Technology are admitted through Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) counseling (85 percentage) and management quota (15 percentage). When considering the rank obtained in JEE Main, it is not compulsory. Those candidates who scored 45% marks in 10+2 exam (40% for SC/ST) with Physics, chemistry and math are eligible to apply. Fees range for the course offered by S. D. College of Engineering and Technology differ from per program. For B.Tech the fee is approximately INR 105,500 – 120,500 per annum . The M.Tech programme is slightly more expensive and each year may range from INR 80,000/- to INR 1,00,000/-. Diploma courses cost between INR 40,000 to INR 60,000 per year . Also, MBA is provided in the college with the fee structure of INR 80,000-120,000 per annum. However, the above fees are estimated and changing from time to time, so you are suggested to contact the colleges for updated fees.

For UG/PG courses at S.D. College of Engineering and Technology, eligibility criteria are as follows: UG courses need at least 45% marks in 10 + 2 provided Physics, Maths and chemistry with 40% for SC/ST categories. JEE Main ranking is also given importance. For admission in PG courses, candidates should have 50% marks in graduation and for SC/ST, it is 45%.
