The research states that INR 9.85 LPA served as the median compensation package for UG (5 years) students placed in 2021. While it was INR 21.40 LPA for a three-year PG program. Out of 229 graduates, 117 UG (5 year) students were placed in total. 327 students were placed during SMS Medical College placements 2021 in the PG (3-year) program.

S.M.S. Medical College NEET PG Round 1 cutoff for MD in Bio-Chemistry is 82754 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in S.M.S. Medical College.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET PG Round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 18781 and closing rank was 18781 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MD in Anaesthesiology in S.M.S. Medical College is based on the scores obtained in the NEET PG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cutoff trend for MBBS at S.M.S. Medical College has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for MBBS under general category for all India quota was 3767. In 2023, it decreased to 2130. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
