Business Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year Management course available in specialisations such as Business Management and others. Whereas PGPM is a Post Graduate Programme in Management which is an 18-month AICTE-approved programme. Students will have to do an on-campus residential module for a period of 12 months, followed by 4 months of Industry and International Immersion if they select the PGPM course. Post Graduate Programme in Marketing & Business Management is also available in the campus which is 13 month programme. The curriculum and the course structure for PGDM and PGPM are difference. PGPM is for experienced professionals and PGDM is for fresh graduates. 

Compared to other colleges, SPJIMR has a different admissions procedure in a few areas. First off, SPJIMR takes into account variables other than merely academic performance, emphasising cultural fit and objective alignment with the institute's ideals. Second, while XAT is no longer allowed, SPJIMR shortlists applicants based on their profiles and results on admission tests like the CAT or GMAT. Furthermore, SPJIMR highlights the significance of the candidate's whole profile and personality, placing emphasis on factors such as academic standing, test results upon admission, relevance of work experience, written assessments, and interview performance.
