Different Cutoff types:JEE Main Cutoff: Crucial for B.Tech admissions,  the 2023 cutoff ranged from 726927 to 1072774 rank. Remember,  these past ranks change annually.MP-Counselling Cutoff: Applies to students using the Madhya Pradesh counselling process. The 2023 cutoff mirrored the JEE Main range,  again,  subject to future changes.Direct Admission Cutoff: If you consider entering through SIRT Bhopal's Entrance Test (SET),  cutoffs vary but often around 60-70 percentile.

MP-Counselling Cutoff: The 2023 cutoff through MP-Counselling for SIRT Bhopal's MBA programme was 1496 - 990344 rank. This indicates the range within which candidates received admission through this process. Management Entrance Test (MET) Cutoff: Although I couldn't find the official 2023 MET cutoff specifically for SIRT Bhopal,  similar institutions' data suggests it could be around 60-70 percentile.

Educational Qualification: You'll need to have passed your qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) with a minimum percentage depending on the program. 70% is generally above the minimum for most programs,  but specific cutoffs may be higher.Entrance Exams: For certain programs,  especially engineering,  passing entrance exams like JEE Main or MP PET is mandatory. Scoring well in these exams significantly improves your chances.Additional Factors: Depending on the program,  factors like personal interviews,  work experience,  or relevant certifications might be considered.

Based on past data, CSE consistently garners the higher number of placements at SIRT. In 2022, for instance, 121 CSE students secured jobs compared to around 40% of ECE students placed in their specific field. Additionally, the average package offered to CSE graduates tends to be slightly higher than that of ECE counterparts.SIRT Bhopal offers good placements for both B.Tech CSE and ECE. CSE generally sees more students placed and potentially slightly higher pay (think software companies!).
