Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) is a government-state university in Burla, Odisha, India. It was established in 1956 as the first engineering college in Odisha. It was originally called the University College of Engineering (UCE).In 2008, students campaigned for the college to be recognised as an independent university.
