Hi Chinmoyee, placements for marketing and HR are good in PUMBA. We have many companies for final placements as well as summer internships in PUMBA for marketing. Also some good names for HR. All depends on your competency. This year placements are slow as it started in October but still the placement season will continue till March. Placements in marketing are better than HR.

Many broking companies like Marsh, Global Brokers, Howden Brokers, Edelweiss Brokers, Aditya Birla Brokers, Mahindra Brokers, Alliance Brokers, etc. come to the campus to recruit students for summer internships and final placements.

The placements have just started (Dec 18th,2017) for the current batch. So far, 55 students have been placed and it is expected that the placements will reach 100% in a couple of months.

As you already have experience in technical sales so you can go for distance MBA in marketing as it will help you in career growth but the regular course would be preferable as it will help you in getting better opportunities and faster growth as compared to distance education. Also, you have an option for E-MBA.
