Your strategy of seeking direct admission in MBA without entrance examination is not correct. You will do high cost MBA without any value and good job prospects. You are advised to revisit your startegy.

The average package is more or less the same in both marketing as well as in finance.
The only advantage marketing candidates have is the limitless potential for earning incentives, which is limited for finance candidates.
Else, the average package remains the same, around INR 3.00 Lakhs per annum.

Hi,
You need to be sure of your interests and work accordingly. See, MBA in Finance, Marketing or HR are equally good and cannot be compared on any scale. And at the end of the day, it is your hard work that will make difference. You will have to put in your hundred percent wherever you go. Hope this helps you.

It depends on your ambition, I mean where you want to see yourself after the completion of the course. If you are more towards banking, insurance accountancy or finance related in terms of interest, then Finance can be good choice. But if you are more interested in aspects related to market and market scenario as well as about market segments and you have ideas aggressive enough to please a customer, then Marketing is not a bad choice.
