Both are different in their respective fields and based on your future goals, you have to decide what you should be doing. A PGDM in Canada from some reputed university might fetch you good chances on an international placement, but two year MBA course in India, considering you are talking about the IIMs or top notch Private Institutes like SIBM or MDI, would earn you more respect in India during placements and Career beyond. So the decision is based on your career goals. Good luck.

A dual specialisation will give you wider opportunities in career. That is, you may chose to pursue a role in marketing or finance department of an organisation. A major deciding factor is your interest. If you wish to learn and specialize in one specific domain throughout your career, it is preferable to go for single specialisation. Managing other hobbies and interests will be possible if you do the course in a public sector university rather than private b-schools.

It's all up to you, all the courses are best, it's just you have to think about in which field you have to go and if you have interested in marketing and finance then go for MBA and if you have interest in English and want to become a lecturer and other things then go for MA in English. It's totally up to you, just think about this try to find your own strengths and weakness, try to find your weakness and sort them out.

BBA covers the basic aspects of advertising, sales, etc. Moreover, if you possess an MBA after that, your chances of advancing with a career in advertising and sales will be much more. Bachelor in Advertising and Sales is a more specific course and is not offered by all universities in India I suppose.
