One should pursue MBA in a subject of ones interest, since you are a Biology Graduate, dealing with finance may not be comfortable for you. Yes, you can pursue MBA in any specialisation regardless of any commerce background. Students from various fields like B.Tech CSE, B.Tech mechanical and many other pursue MBA. But one must clear an equivalent test for admission. One must have a good percentile or rank in CMAT, XAT or CAT. In some private universities these test are not compulsory, they have their own test for eligibility and sometimes these CAT like test are used for giving scholarship according to rank and score.

Marketing has vast scope. But the matter of fact is which specialisation you are going to prefer. I would advise you to follow your passion rather than looking for the scope. Your package is totally based on the knowledge, skills and caliber you possess. So it would be advisable if you focus more on your studies and sharpen your existing knowledge in the field of your choice.
