Yes, you can choose it, as Operations Management is one of the most interesting and widely accepted subjects in the corporate world. The mere reason for it is that it is widely accepted and required across all verticals. Since the subject teaches us about optimization of resources and cost saving, it can be applied in all and any fields.

Firstly, IT is an industry which encompasses the function of marketing too. So doing both as part of a job is not unheard or impossible task. You can choose a stream of MBA which inculcates IT or systems management in its course while specializing in marketing stream during your 2nd year of MBA. As per my knowledge WE School provides business MBA stream with marketing specialisation.

To apply for UGC NET exam candidates will have to score at least 55% from a recognised university/college in their Master's degree exams (in departments such as Social Science, Humanities, Education, Computer Science, Electronic Science, etc.). It must be noted that candidates belonging to categories ST/SC/PwD/OBC will require a minimum 50% to apply for UGC NET exam. It is advised that candidates appear on the subject of their Master's degree course only.

It all depends on your interest. By "better" if you mean package offered in placements, then it's not the right way to plan for a career. Instead try to figure out your interest area, research more about each of them and see if they are relevant to your current field. Hope that helps.

You can do the basic course for digital marketing by Google for free and get the certification from Google. Well, it's very difficult. Almost every college give admission on the basis of entrance test. Try for next year along with entrance with a good score for top colleges rather than doing MBA in an average college.
