Welingkar provides the best placements for marketing. It gives a lot of opportunities to students and also provides a global exposure. There are a lot of foreign companies which provide placements which gives students a chance to prove themselves on a global level. They have the top marketing companies coming for placements as well. Hey Vikas,
If you enrol for a full-time MBA course then you can choose your specialization under marketing, wherein, sales is one of the profile offered.
In most of the colleges, 1st year has all the subjects common for all the students, no matter what specialization you are opting for. And for the next year, you can always choose marketing and get into sales.
All the best.

Hi Shakib,
Let me clear your doubt. BIBS is good for placements. If you compare it with any institute in Kolkata, you will see the difference. The marketing department is indeed very strong here because of the faculty and the companies who we have in our placement list. So, definitely, it's a good option to study marketing here. Rest is your hard work that will fetch you a good job.

It's very difficult to get a good MBA institute with this score. As you have work experience of 1-year, it's better to continue with your work. Keep trying for MBA entrance exams or distance MBA courses. You can also look for executive MBA for which you need to have at least 4 years of work experience. Colleges like Great lakes, SP Jain and ISB are good options. Known marketing colleges are SP Jain, MDI, MICA, NMIMS and SIBM (apart from IIMs).
