The conditions of qualification for admission into the MSc courses at Sambalpur University are as follows: - The applicant must have gone through Arts / Science / Commerce or B.A. / B.Sc / B.Com. The student must have passed a 10+2 or above examination from a recognised board. The compulsory subjects need to be Physics and Mathematics, chemistry. Minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 60% aggregate. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum marks requirement is reduced by 10% (50%). Sambalpur University may take into consideration scores from entrance exams such as JEE Main or UPSEE for admission in B.Tech.
