The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech programs at Sambalpur University are as follows :Admission is based on scores obtained in the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).Any Science graduate with a 45% aggregate having one or more of the following as core subjects -Computer Science / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics or Graduates with 45% mark having BSc IST / BSc IT / BCA / B.Tech. (Comp. Sc. / Electronics / IT / IST).You must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised board with a minimum percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum percentage might vary depending on factors like your category (general, SC/ST, etc.).The admission into the B.Tech course is based on the score in JEE Main whereas OJEE is only valid for lateral entry in BTech, i.e. admission in the second year. The candidates who clear the OJEE entrance exam will be offered admission into the BTech colleges of Odisha.
