The current intake is for the year 2024. Admission procedure of S.A.T.I. is JEE Main score-based followed by counseling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, D.T.E., Madhya Pradesh. A candidate should be a pass of 12th standard in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with aggregate percentage above 45%. Online application link is also available with the offline application form. BTech is considered the best choice at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute due many reasons. Its faculty is strong and quite experienced; most of its faculty members have more than 20 years of experience in teaching, thus a guarantee of quality education. S.A.T.I. also offers good placement with companies like TCS and Infosys regularly recruiting its students. The infrastructure is in good order and meets all the basic needs for learning practically. Yes, Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (S.A.T.I.) is a well-known institution based at Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh. It started its functioning in the year 1960 as a Self Financed Government Aided autonomous institute, and got the NAAC accreditation as well. It provides an Undergraduate and Post-Graduate level courses as well and admits students on basis of scores of JEE and GATE. The placement cell has made successful placements in companies such as TCS and Infosys. Many students even consider it to be one of the best tier-3 colleges for engineering studies.

The food quality in the hostel mess of Samrat Ashok Technological Institute is very much average both in terms of taste and quality. Many students have reported that they are unable to have the food for a long-term and have to order from outside source. Moreover the mess menu is purely veg and which could be problematic for many.

For admissions at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, cutoff is subject to changes as the year and the course taken are considered. Overall Cutoff Ranks 2024 for the General Category vary between 113,413 and 173,574. During 2023, in the first round, cutoffs went up to 108,071, whereas for 2022 and some very popular branches, including Computer Science and Engineering, cutoff was 82,909. These cutoffs indicate that admission to SATI is highly competitive and will be granted only to those candidates who performed well in the JEE Main for a particular program.

Yes, there is a placement cell available at the Samrat Ashok Technological Institute. They liaises with various industrial establishments and corporate houses like TCS, Infosys, Yes Bank, Reliance Jio, Force Motors, Byju's, etc. to name a few. About 40-50% of the students get a placement every year. The highest reported package till now is 16 LPA. Other students generally get packages of 2-5 LPA.
