The fee for B.Tech programmes at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology was INR 2,30, 800 fir the session 2022-23. However, fees may be subject to change based on disciplines taken under btech over time.

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is a government established IT education institute and the entrance is provided on the basis of JEE MAIN percentile.The entrance is quite competitive as the cut of goes too high for admission. Since, there are not many courses offered at this institute, students tend to think SLIET is hard to get. The Cut off for UG admission in the year 2023 was 98.5 percetile in JEE MAINS. The Cut off for PG admission in the year 2023 was 87.5 percentile in GATE.

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University are both good institutions for IT education.Sant Longowal Institute is a Government institute which thrives in placement and education as compared to SMVDU.Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is a public institution which excels in providing a variety of courses in unique field as compared to SLIET. Being a Public university, its fee structure is comparatively lower.

According to the official website of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, the eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech is:> Candidates must have cleared JEE MAINS.> Candidates must have a minimum aggregate marks if 75% in class 12th with a PCM background.> In case of Lateral Entry, the Candidates must possess a Diploma in the respective field with a minimum 5.5 GPA or 55% percentage.
