B.Tech is a popular course in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology among the students. Reasons for this is a good placement record and this course also offers a good package after placement. Around 80% students in this course received placements.The procedure for getting admission into the B.Tech course at this institution is- First, the candidate must fulfill the criteria of passing class 12th with more than 75% and students must appear in JEE and score a good score. Based on the score in JEE and available seats one can get admission. After that counseling starts for different branches under this course.

Faculty members with extensive training and expertise mentor students. However, the reason why Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is superior to Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is that its placement rate is higher than that of SLIET, with a growth rate of roughly 30% compared to 10% at SLIET. Moreover, SLIET offers packages between INR 4 and 19 lakhs, while Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University offers packages between INR 4.5 and 25 lakhs.

A considerable number of companies—more than 100—visited the Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology campus for campus placement. Approximately fifty organizations visited the campus in 2022, up from the previous three years. Among these organizations, the top employers at this institution for 2022 placements were top national employers like Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, and HCL. Other notable recruiters were Coca-Cola, Nestle, Samsung, HP, and Wipro.

Both the institutes Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University are well to pursue higher studies. However, when we talk about the placements offered and compare them, then for B.Tech-M tech courses the package range is INR 4-19 Lakhs approximately in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology and around INR 4.5-25 Lakhs in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University which is better than the former. Also the placement rate in SMVDU is greater than in SLIET. Also the growth rate in the number of placements is also better in SMVDU which is 28 % than 13% of SLIET. So we can say that placem

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology 2023 cut off marks can be determined on the basis of number of candidates appearing for the exam, difficulty level of exam, and on the basis of your caste & category. If your rank lies in this range then you will get admission easily in computer science, information technology, electronic, civil, most of the departments easily. For computer Science, closing rank is 73844 and for branches you will get admission on above 73844 score. JEE score for B.Tech at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology depends on your choice of course and your category. For general category, it is usually high but if you belong to the sc/st and PWD then you will get admission on decent score. For computer science, information technology, and electronic engineering are required high score. Around 70230 to 119137. You can study hard for JEE exam and it is based on 11 th and 12th standard syllabus. Also you can mind more information on college official website.

SLIET Entrance Test is required for B.Tech at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology. This exam is a university level exam and this year exam is already conducted if you want to wish to give this exam next year then dates will be announced in April month 2024. Candidates can check the cut off of from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology college website and also on Shiksha's website. Cut off marks depend on the course, number of students are appearing for this exam in that year and candidate's category. For general category, you will find it high and for other, it is little bit low compared to general category. You can find all the other information like admission process, past years cut off list , placement record and faculty etc.

Yes, you can get admission with 60% but on the basis of 12th standard marks, it not enough to get admission. You have to attempt an university level entrance exam SLIET. This exam is based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics which you have studied in 12th standard. The purpose of this exam is just to check candidates' knowledge. This exam will increase your chances to get admission in this university.
