There is no mandatory requirement to do SAP certifications. You may choose any of SAP functional consultant certification based on your BBA degree specializsation or interest: SD, MM, CRM, PP, FICO, etc

There is big scope. But, you have to make sure you working with the right firm. These days it's all online everywhere and many companies are using the SAP module for their operations.
