SAP stands for Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing. It is a product of SAP AG, Walldorf, Germany. It is not easy to define SAP in a specific definition. It is multidimensional product. It has to be viewed through various angles to understand it. First of all, if you are a fresher, you cannot pursue SAP certification from an authorised centre. You must have at least 2 years functional experience before joining for SAP certification.
Since you are from commerce background, if you work in accounts then FICO module is better for you. If you work in materials and purchase then MM module is something you look into
