You have stated that you have obtained about 95 percentile in JEE Mains. Then you go on to ask two questions. Firstly whether you will get admission in Sardar Patel College of Engineering at Mumbai based on this entrance exam and secondly about lateral admission in this same institution. Let me clarify. Admissions to all the engineering colleges in Maharashtra except perhaps IIT and NIT are based on the entrance exam conducted by the government of Maharashtra called mht CET. You will get admission in in SPCE based only on this. Of course few seats may be reserved for what is called as national quota admission is based on

This college offers graduation in engineering in only three branches of viz civil, mechanical & electrical. As you have guessed correctly, admissions are given based on the entrance exam conducted by government of Maharashtra. No admissions are given directly. However, admissions against All India Quota" seats are given based on ranking in JEE Mains. Best wishes to you.

Aspirants must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as mandatory subjects.
Aspirants must have secured minimum 50% marks in mandatory subjects (45% marks for candidates belongs to backward class categories and persons with disability of Maharashtra state).
Candidates also need to comply with the eligibility criteria stated by DTE.
