Hello Rugved,
You have stated that you have obtained about 95 percentile in JEE Mains. Then you go on to ask two questions. Firstly whether you will get admission in Sardar Patel College of Engineering at Mumbai based on this entrance exam and secondly about lateral admission in this same institution. Let me clarify. Admissions to all the engineering colleges in Maharashtra except perhaps IIT and NIT are based on the entrance exam conducted by the government of Maharashtra called mht CET. According to UGC norms, the stipend is given to every student who has QUALIFIED Gate exam irrespective of from where you are pursuing it -IIT, NIT, Govt, Non-govt, semi-govt college, etc- doesn't matter. If you are gate qualified, you are eligible for stipend from every college having M.TECH course. So you will get the stipend.

Hello,
This college offers graduation in engineering in only three branches of viz civil, mechanical & electrical. As you have guessed correctly, admissions are given based on the entrance exam conducted by government of Maharashtra. No admissions are given directly. However, admissions against All India Quota" seats are given based on ranking in JEE Mains. Best wishes to you.

To be eligible for admissions to BTech programmes at SPCE Mumbai, aspirants should adhere to the eligibility criteria mentioned below.
Aspirants must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as mandatory subjects.
