SPU is a state university located in Gujarat. It has several faculty members including engineering, science, business, arts etc.The placement record of SPU has been decent but not exceptional. Engineering disciplines like Computer Science and IT have relatively better placements than other branches.Top recruiters at SPU include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T Infotech, Tech Mahindra etc. Many students also get placed in IT service based companies.The average placement percentage for engineering at SPU is around 60-70%. The separate details for SPU MSc placements is not out yet. The University has released the combined placement data for PG (2-year) courses. As per the report, out of 1,605 PG (2-year) graduates 300 were placed during SPU placements 2022. Earlier, out of 1,489 PG (2-year) students 135 were placed during 2021 placements. As per the NIRF report 2023, 101 MBA students graduated in 2022. Out of these, 80 were placed during Sardar Patel University placements 2022. This makes the placement rate almost 79%. Earlier, 101 students graduated in 2021 and 86 were placed during 2021 placements. This makes the placement rate almost 85%. As of now, the University has disclosed the median package details for the MBA. As per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to the MBA batch passing out in 2022 was INR 3.54 LPA. The Sardar Patel University average package is not out yet. However, the University has released a separate NIRF report for the Management department. As per the report, the median package offered to MBA students during 2023 placements was INR 5.70 LPA. In 2022, the median package was comparatively less and the amount stood at INR 3.54 LPA.
