Yes, you have a good chance of getting admission in SASTRA with an academic result of above 3.55 and other certificates like leadership. The eligibility criteria for admission to SASTRA varies depending on the course you are applying for. However, in general, you will need to have passed your 12th board exams with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. You may also need to have taken the JEE Main exam. As far as B.Tech is concerned, education standards depends mostly on the student who's pursuing. So, either main campus or Kumbakonam SASTRA, there won't be much difference in education. Faculty are equally good in both the campuses. But the only thing is that, Kumbakonam campus doesn't have hostel facility. When coming to placements, all the students have to attend the drives only in main campus. So they'll be given equal preference depending upon the CGPA and other eligibility criteria. There's no difference in placements for both main and kumbakonam campus of SASTRA.

You have chances of getting into SASTRA if your JEE rank lies between 20k to 30k. You have possibilities to get into SASTRA for ECE. Try up to the 3rd round of counseling, you have 80% chances of getting into ECE branch of SASTRA with your score.

Sastra considers overall +2 marks for ranking. You haven't mentioned whether student is from CBSE or state board and state of resident. Assuming CBSE by seeing scores. Student with 440 above out off 500 will be getting a chance in sastra. All the best.

If your JEE rank stands in range of 25,000-30,000. You can get CSE with your score. Try upto last round of counselling. Wish you luck.

It's difficult to get CSE with your score. Your JEE percentile is less under stream 1. You can try for other branches. Wish you luck.

Under Tamilnadu quota, it's hard to get CSE under stream 2 with your score. Mostly everyone in sastra main campus under stream 2 will have score of above 93%. You can have a try for kumbakonam campus. Try up toast round of counselling. Wish you luck.
