Yes, admission for sastra is 70% through JEE Mains + boards and rest 30% is from board merit. Moreover, for the 70% admissions, 75% are your JEE Mains marks weightage and 25% are your board marks weightage. Hence you are likely to get admissions with your better performance in Boards. JEE Mains score should be above 40 and for stream 2 Sastra marks should be 1130+.

As the ranks (AIR) till 2000 are only called for counselling in the first round, you will not get a counselling offer in the first round. The admission under second round counselling is purely based on the availability of seats.
You may refer the website www.sastra.edu in which they will update the seats available on June 21 and 22.

Getting admission in the first round of counselling depends on your rank and you have low chances only in the first round. For the second round of counselling, the admission is based on the seats available (vacancies). So, if there are any vacancies then you may get admission.

If this is your rank under stream-2, then your chances of getting admission will be low. Nearly, 500 TNR ranks will be only called on June 22, you may not get a seat in the first round of counselling.
so if there are any vacancies then you may get a seat . you can get the courses like chemical , civil , mechatronics etc
