An individual with 89% in Tamil Nadu +2 and above can compete at SASTRA University under Stream 2 for B.Tech courses. Stream 2 takes the aggregate in +2 normalized with the marks of students from the same board for the highest rank to fill the seats. SASTRA University admission is both merit and entrance-based. Students are selected based on national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, NEET, GATE, etc. The below table mentions the total tuition fee for some of the popular UG and PG programmes offered by SASTRA Deemed-to-be University. However, this is not the overall charge that a student is required to pay since the total fee is also inclusive of Sports and Unit Test fee per annum, development fees (one-time payment) and special fees, registration fees, medical, exam fees, etc. which are again paid once during the complete duration of the course.
