An individual with 89% in Tamil Nadu +2 and above can compete at SASTRA University under Stream 2 for B.Tech courses. Stream 2 takes the aggregate in +2 normalized with the marks of students from the same board for the highest rank to fill the seats. Therefore, since reserved 30% of total seats, this score stands competitively when it comes to overall merit and normalization. Sastra University provides integrated M.Tech programmes spanning two specialisations and BTech programmes across 23 specialisations. There are eight semesters and four years between the programmes. 70% of the places in all of these courses at Satra University are filled by JEE Main scores, with Class 12 scores accounting for the remaining 30% of seats.
