It is good that you have opted for aerospace engineering. But with 87% you have only medium or low chances to get a seat at SASTRA University.
You need to apply under stream 2, where students with 90-95% and above appear and also the remaining 30% of seats are only filled in stream 2. All these factors make your chances to get admission low.
If you have already applied, then the rank list will be released on June 10. So that you may check whether you can have a possibility or not, refer www.sastra.edu for further details and the counselling starts from June 19.

Yes, there are really good chances for you to get a seat at Sastra University. You can also get a top course as you have good scores. Your overall percentage (98%) and JEE main scores (89) will be converted into a percentile and the ranks will be put your percentile will be: 98(0.75)+89(0.25)=95.75
On June 10, in the evening, they will release the rank list and so you may check your possibility of getting a top course.

Yes, you can get admission at Sastra University as your scores are really good. I think you can also get electronics and electrical engineering as your chances are high. Apply through stream 1 and your percentile will be 50(0.25)+97(0.75)=85.25
On this basis, you will be placed on a rank.
The last date is June 10. So, probably the rank list will be released on that day.
All the best!

Your score is not bad but your chances to get a seat at a Sastra University is a little low. Even if you get a seat you may not get the top courses like CSE, mechanical, electronics, IT, etc. If you have appeared for JEE main, then your chances for getting admission would increase.
All the best!

stream 1: JEE Main and board exam marks (70%).
stream 2: only board exam marks(30%).
If you apply under stream 1 ,then you need not apply separately for stream 2. If they wish to take you under stream 2, then they will put you under stream 2 and admit you.
But anyways you can get admission with your board exam percentage. Your marks will be converted into percentile like: for example, if you have got 50 marks in jee and 95% in boards then,
50(0.25)+95(0.75)=83.75.
In this way they will put you in a ran

Yes, you are eligible to get admission at SASTRA University. The admissions are based on two streams:
Stream 1: 70% of seats through JEE scores +board exam scores.
stream 2: 30% of seats only through board exam scores.
If you have appeared for JEE exam then you should apply for stream 1.
If you didn't then, apply through stream 2. Since, you have a good score you can surely get admission through stream 2.
Apply through www.sastra.edu and the last date is June 10.
All the best.

You really have a great percentage in your board exams but your JEE score is little low. So even if you cannot get a seat in stream 1 in which both JEE Mains and board exam scores are considered, you can get a seat through stream 2.
But 70% seats are filled through stream 1 and the rest 30% are filled through stream 2.
The official website is www.sastra.edu.

SASTRA University takes admission through two streams.
As you have appeared for JEE exams you should apply for stream 1. The admission is done by converting both of your JEE scores and board exam marks into a percentile. Means JEE marks 30% and 12th scores 70%.
There is no need to apply separately for stream 2 which includes only board exam marks.
You have qualified JEE Mains and if you have around 90-95% then you are sure to get admission.
