Engineering College after completion of B.E. / B.Tech is INR 500,000. Basis these stats, SASTRA (Deemed to be University) is better option compared to R.M.K. Engineering College on the Median salary parameter.

However, in terms of affordability, SASTRA (Deemed to be University) is a better option since the total tuition fee for SASTRA (Deemed to be University) is INR 200,000 and the total tuition fee for B.Sc. at School of Science and Humanities, SRM IST, Chennai is INR 75,000 - INR 380,000.
In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.
