Hi A. Ram,
As per the score of your son in JEE Mains, he can not get Computer Science Engineering in SASTRA University. I will suggest you to go for Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc, in this college. The chances of getting admission in these branches are high.
Best of luck.

Hi Aetteri, yes, you can get admission in SASTRA University with this score in JEE Mains. You will get branches other than Computer Science Engineering in this college. You should go for branches like IT, Civil, ECE, EE, Mechanical, etc. Best of luck.

Both of these are good colleges for doing engineering. Both are competitive with each other and are equal. If you consider education, placements and rankings, both will almost be the same. But SASTRA University has its own syllabus and curriculum as it is a deemed university, therefore, preferring SASTRA over SSN is of high interest. So you can prefer any one of these for engineering. The only thing is that SSN comes under Anna University, so the syllabus will be the same for all the affiliated colleges. But an important reason to say no to SASTRA is their absolute grading system (meaning, a student has to reach a specific cut off

Hello Adi, your question is not clear and hence I am not able to give you a proper answer. If you are looking to opt for EEE at Sastra University, then it is a really good option. All the best !

Hello Adi, yes you can. EEE is one of the top demanded courses and has more industrial importance. This branch is also believed to be more productive in future due to the rise of automation. And Sastra University is one of the good Universities which offers better training and placements with good infrastructure. Hence you can go for it.

Both ECE and EEE are highly demanded courses at Sastra University after CSE. Hence it depends on your interest to choose between the two. Sastra University has good infrastructure, faculty, training and placements for both of the branches.

There is a lot of competition for CSE. There might be a chance for you to get admission in CSE, the probability is quite less. But you can get admission easily in other departments like ECE or mechanical easily.

Hi Aishwarya,
Although chances of getting Computer Science Engineering is low, but it must be your first preference at the time of counselling. Your preference should be like computer science engineering, information technology, electronics engineering, electrical, civil, mechanical etc. In the first round, she will get information technology, then in second or third round, she might get computer science engineering, if she is lucky enough.
Best of luck.
