No, you are not eligible for getting a seat in SASTRA as the competition is very tough you need to have more marks.

No exact answer can be given as admission in SASTRA is on the combined basis of boards and Mains score.
Since you have a low boards percentage, you can only get into it if you have good Mains marks.
However, the branch is non-core, hence the competition will not be much.

Yes, admission for sastra is 70% through JEE Mains + boards and rest 30% is from board merit. Moreover, for the 70% admissions, 75% are your JEE Mains marks weightage and 25% are your board marks weightage. Hence you are likely to get admissions with your better performance in Boards. Hi, you have to score minimum 60% in 12th to be eligible for SASTRA. Also, the candidate should not have completed 19 years of age as on July 1, 2018. Regards.
