Hello, SASTRA University does not give admission on the basis of JEE Mains only it also consider the board percent which should be 90+ and in Mains 100+. They prepare their own merit list on the basis of 2 criteria:
1) First criteria has 70% of seats. Admissions are given by taking 25% weightage of JEE Mains and 75% of boards.
2) Second criteria includes admission on the basis of boards marks only. But it has only 30% of seats. All the best.

JEE Mains score should be above 40 and for stream 2 Sastra marks should be 1130+.

According to me, ECE from Sastra is better. But if you prefer computer Science then you can also go for CSE from BNMIT.

ECE in Sastra Kumbakonam is better according to me than BNMIT. If you get chance in Sastra, go for it as it has good placement records.
