You have good placements assurance not only for Mechanical but also for other departments. Mass recruiters of Mechanical are Ford, TVS Sundaram Motors, etc.

Sastra is ranked before these colleges in NIRF ranking. So, it's better if you get into Sastra if you have a fair score.

Hello,
Sastra doesn't have any Caste Based reservation. Sastra University does counselling only based on the marks you have got. I guess, it's difficult for you to get into Sastra with this score. However, if you have JEE marks more than 120, you have fair chances.
