Hello,
First of all, congratulations. Getting seat in SASTRA University through counselling (based on board marks and JEE) is so simple if you have above 80% score but through diploma, you have a chance that you can get directly into second year as the first option or through normal counselling based on your diplomo score is the second option. As far as my opinion is concerned, first option is so difficult, even for the 95% score. So, you have a fair option of counselling process where in, you could get a fair chance of mechanical department B.Tech.
All the best.

Hello Satish,
You can get admission into SASTRA University with this marks as it is really a good score. But the scholarship or reduction in the fee structure is not offered on the basis of your admission marks.
There are certain scholarships that you can avail, once you score more in your semester exams.

Hello Sriram,
In SASTRA University there are two ways to get admission. One is via the combined scores of JEE main and board exam marks, while the other is only with board exam marks.
If you are not going to appear for JEE Mains then, your percentage should be 96 and above in Andhra Pradesh boards so that you may get the desired branch.

If you are not from Thanjavur or Trichy, it is very difficult. If you are from Tamil Nadu, you have a slight chance in Stream 2. Best of luck!

You have to attend a course conducted by SASTRA University during the summer holidays after the completion of polytechnic exams. The duration of the course would be 30 days. At the end of the course a test will be conducted. The marks in the test and your attendance during the course will be used to evaluate your candidature. Contact office for details about the course.

Hello Komali,
The probability of getting a seat for CSE at SASTRA University is high with these marks. But the admission is also based on the number of applicants and the number of seats available.
So, you may try it in the counseling.
