Yes, you can. Because, you have a good board score. Since, aerospace is not the most sought after course in SASTRA, you have very good chance to get it.

Since you have not attended JEE you have to apply through stream 2 only. Stream 2 has just 30% of seats and there is heavy competition for those seats. You have got a decent percentage but you getting a course you prefer is not a guarantee. You have good chances to get admission though.

Your chances are less, if you are not from Trichy or Thanjavur. Generally, CSE, MECH and ECE requires aggregate percentile scores of 95.

Hello Mr. Arul Sekar,
Your son has got a good score in CBSE boards. There are good chances to get a seat for mechatronics.
If he has not appeared for JEE Mains, then he needs to apply under stream 2. If appeared, then stream 1. If he has appeared for JEE Mains and then his chances of getting SASTRA University will be more.
In stream 1, 70% seats are filled and in stream 2, 30% seats are filled. Under stream 2, students with 95% and above will also appear. So, for mechanical there might be low chances but for mechatronics there are good chances.
The last date for applying is June 10th.

SASTRA University accepts any state board as well as central board students. They have not specified particularly ISC but they have mentioned that any other boards that are accepted by SASTRA, can apply. ISC board is also like the other board of education. So you can apply for it.
Your score is good so that you can get a seat.
You need to apply under stream 1. The last date to apply is June 10th. The website is www.sastra.edu
If you want to talk to the officials then their contact number is:

Yes, you can get admission with 98.2% in board exams and 68 marks in JEE main exam. Your percentile will be 98.2(0.75)+68(0.25)= 90.65 .
With this score you will be placed on a rank. I think you can also get the top courses like CSE, IT, mechanical, etc.
As June 10th is the last date, probably in the evening they will release the rank list.

Hello Abinesh!
Sastra University is one of the reputed institutions in India. It has many accreditation and rankings. So it is better to study any course in Sastra University. If you get a better one than Sastra then go for it. But Sastra University is far better than many other colleges in India which is available with affordable fee structure.
So, you can opt for mechanical engineering at Sastra and the placement is also good.
